Protecting Your Children
If your wife is providing an unsafe environment for your children, prepare documentation of the incidents which lead you to come to this conclusion such as bruises or strange behavior. You should also document your interactions with your ex, specifically any time they refused you access to your children. If you have the means you will want to get in contact with a lawyer to discuss specific strategies, such as filling to have a full psychological evaluation done. This is known as a 730 Evaluation in most regions and can cost between five and fifteen thousand.
If you do not have the means to have this done your next option is to contact child services with your documentation. If you feel your children are in imminent danger you should always contact the police as soon as possible.
The Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act allows for the state to take Temporary Custody over a child if there are allegations of child abuse or domestic violence so if they are in danger do not hesitate to get help, this does not mean the government will take your children away forever but they will be kept safe while the case is investigated.
